This beautiful lake is 50 acres in size and is easy to stroll on the paved path around the lake. There are picnic tables, restrooms, water fountains, fishing docks and much more. The lake is stocked 4 times a year and so there is plenty of fish. Bring your fishin' pool and license and you're good to go!!

Incredible trail for horseback riders, bikes, walkers or hikers. Paved trail from Vernonia to Banks which is about 21 miles. The terrain is easy to medium ability and you travel thru wooded areas that are beautiful.

My favorite park in the Vernonia area. The Nehalem River runs along the park and is a beautiful place to swim, kayak, catch crawdads or fish. The camping sites are spacious and there is water available. No electricity or sewer hookups. There is a compostable toilet facility at the site. Tent camping is also available. Large trees, providing perfect shade for you. Located off Timber Rd, south of Vernonia about 3 miles. Easy to find. the Vernonia Golf Club also parallels the park. Beautiful 9 hole golf course.
