Must experience
There are 2 amazing hotsprings in town in Glenwood Springs, but I highly recommend this newer one called Iron Mountain Hot Springs, because it is right along the Colorado River and they have many different pools with various temperatures. They also serve alcohol which you can take into the pools as well. My favorite time to go is right before sunset, and overlooking the river as sunset hits.

This is the only mountain-top theme park in the world. You ride up the tram on the north side of Glenwood Springs up the mountain to the top, and there are many great rides for the whole family.

Sunlight ski resort is an amazing ski resort that the locals love, because it's much more affordable than Aspen or Vail, with lift lines that are drastically less than the big resorts; and you'd be surprised how many great runs and great snow this resort has.

Just outside Glenwood Springs is the Hanging Lake trail that has become a must see destination. It's a little bit of a hike and often packed, but the wait and hike up is well worth it.

Glenwood Springs has been voted a few years ago as the Funnest Small town in America by USA today. It has a lot of attractions, and the downtown core has a lot of great restaurants and sights to see.

This is my favorite burrito place. Authentic mexican burritos and tacos, and very affordable. If you have a hangover, get their Super Breakfast burrito, you won't regret it. My other favorite burritos are the Carne Asada, Carnitas, and the California burrito.

Awesome Chinese restaurant. Everything is made fresh, and you get big servings for very affordable prices. If you have a sweet tooth, try their Honey Walnut shrimp. If you like meaty dishes, try their Mongolian beef.
