In the evening, take a stroll along the promenade. You'll naturally end up at the fairground, which is great fun to visit with children. Bar is a nice place for shopping. Our favorite Italian restaurant, Pulena, with free Wi-Fi, is located in the center.

There's a large covered shopping mall just outside the center of Podgorica, featuring many well-known as well as lesser-known brands. You can also enjoy good food there. Our boys were able to play PlayStation (paid) there. Podgorica itself is also quite nice for shopping.

Near the museum, there is a beautiful monastery that you can visit.
Visit the old town in the late afternoon when it's not so hot. There are some really nice restaurants where you can dine afterward. Our favorite is the traditional restaurant! The lamb is very tasty, and the vegetarian homemade dolmas are so good that I always look forward to returning.

The Budva boulevard is very enjoyable in the evening. Visit the old town with its charming shops. For families with older children, there is an aqua park with many slides. It's just over a two-hour drive from our house. Tip: leave early to avoid traffic.

Go rafting on the Tara River; we did it with a group and it was safe and a lot of fun! Information about Dane, our contact, is in our booklet. The drive to Žabljak via Nikšić (good for a break) takes about 4 hours. You can stay overnight at Dane's place very affordably. On the way back, you can take the road via Kolašin, offering stunning views of the Tara River, the second-deepest canyon in the world!

A unique swimming spot just 15 minutes' drive from our house. Head towards Ulcinj and turn right at the Valdanos sign, then follow the road; you'll get there easily. It's a beautiful route past olive groves! There's also a small restaurant there.
