Hiking
White Point is a very friendly hike with great views. Being very accessible this is a great option to get outside and enjoy the coast for everyone of all ages. Make sure you follow the stupid rule and stay 6' from the cliffs. Erosion can be deceiving. Be safe and enjoy white point!

19713 Cabot Trail RdEasy flat hike through moose habitat with a rewarding view at the end.
Mountain trail hike. Very steep, not too long a few km forsure. AWESOME views at the top. Not for kids or those lacking good footwear... take your time and you will be glad you did.
Trail head is at the bottom of a hill just into an almost 180 degree turn, on your way into meat cove. there's only one road in so hard to miss... there is a little parking lot beside the trail head, just pull up the hill too the left as you approach the corner. Message me and I can drop you a pin via text or somthing like that to help you find it easily.

Beach / Surfing
Possibly our favourite beach on the island! Great for beach days, picnics, hiking (cool waterfall trail), and on the right day surfing. Note rentals are not available here.
If your adventure / risk tolerance is high i might even know a local cliff jumping spot here.

This is a nice sandy beach, great for swimming and surfing. There is designated surfing and swimming areas. Life guards on duty as well as a surf shop with rentals at a very reasonable rate!

Great trout fishing in Middle river. You need a license if you fish on the non tide side of the highway. Make sure you check and understand the local regulations before fishing.

Under the bridge between the convience store and the church off the Louisburg highway. Try fishing here at night for stripped bass with a big weight hook and a piece of mackerel. If the locals are around likely the fish are too.

This small community is home to some great cultural experiences and a night at the playhouse is definently a fun time no matter whats in the schedule!
