If you are taking part then the route runs along the end of Ashenground road - enjoy it we watch it every year, However if you happen to be here that weekend only go east and west along that route otherwise the roads are shut. Brighton is best attempted on the train.

With so many beautiful routes nearby it's always a hassle if the kids get wet or hungry or both. So don't risk cutting the journey short, take wellies and a nice picnic - Tesco & Sainsbury's do a great 'meal deal' if you want a break from sandwich making. Also, if you go to Nymans or Sheffield park take oats to feed the ducks - hours of fun.
