Trails in Glacier

Hiking inside Glacier National Park is a must while in the area. There are hikes for all abilities and here are a few of my favorites.
This trail starts off as a boardwalk called Trail of the Cedars and then branches off and follows Avalanche Creek up to Avalanche Lake. The creek is so pretty but then you get to the lake and are blown away. The trail itself isn't too difficult and I highly recommend it.

Hidden Lake Overlook is one of my favorite short hikes in Glacier. You will most likely see wildlife like goats, sheep, or even a bear along with spectacular views. Parking at the top of Logan Pass fills up during the busy months so either go early or later in the day. You will not be disappointed.

Bowman Lake is located up the North Fork and is worth the drive on gravel roads. There are numerous hikes that take off from the lake and it is an amazing way to spend a day. Don't forget to stop at the Polebridge Merc for some yummy huckleberry bearclaws!
