Buttermilk is a local favorite...and it's walking distance from the studio! They are known for their amazing biscuit sandwiches. Everything is local and fresh. Coffee is amazing and they always have plenty of handmade, fresh pastries. Friday is "fried chicken Friday" and Buttermilk is open Tues-Sat, 7am-1pm.

Delicious Cuban food! Take out or dine in.... If you like Cuban food you will LOVE this little hole in the wall.

This is the BEST local grocer in Sarasota. It's like an indoor farmer's market with seafood, meat, deli, ice cream, baked goods, and fresh fruits and veggies! The prices are unbeatable. There are many locations around town, but this is the original and the closest to the studio. Fun fact: Vanessa's first job was here as a cashier in high school ;) There was no AC and this was the only location!

This is our FAVORITE BBQ! Try the brisket, bacon burnt ends, mac n cheese, ALL the tacos, or the lone star caviar. Or, try them all! We love the atmosphere here, too. This is a cute area of town!

Be prepared to wait to be seated; however, they have an awesome backyard where you can wait, (oftentimes) listen to live music, grab a drink, and order small bites. Owen's is definitely a must for a good night out!
