Some people think I am nuts for recommending the WW2 Museum, but it is one of the best museums I have ever been to (and I make it a point to go to all major museums in every city I travel). Great exhibits with full scale replicas of planes, tanks and landing craft. Tons of interactive exhibits. Overall, very well done. The attached restaurant, The American Sector, isn't bad either.

Visiting exhibits can be great. The permanent collection is okay. Sculpture garden is fantastic for a stroll when the weather is nice.
