I’m told the beer is great (I’m not a beer drinker myself) but definitely great food and excellent location near the river, splash park and playground. Great place to relax while the kids go play for a bit!

Becoming popular in Summer months as TGE place to mountain bike with shuttles available, Falls creek is an easy ski resort to access for those nervous driving in the winter and has a much larger beginner terrain for those who are first time skiers/boarders! Definitely a family ski trip mountain!

This is a large area & best travelled around by bike or car
Both Myrtleford and Bright are easily accessible by bike but if that’s not your style, most locations are accessible by car easily. In Winter, chains need to be carried to enter ski resorts.

Warm clothes in the Winter are a must!
If you intend to visit during Winter pack layers and a waterproof jacket!

Hire chains!
Know what size your tyres are (three numbers on your tyres), which wheels they go on and whether your car allows clearance for snow chains (check your manual) because some cars these days do not fit chains and thus CAN NOT be driven to ski resorts during the season!
