There are many places to enjoy the wild, unspoilt beaches and clean sea so we've included some of our favourites.

A wonderful sea, the famous "trabocco", fishing platform, which are typical of the Abruzzo coastline. A super sandy beach.

La Locanda Dei Sapori
Unfortunately, this restaurant is no longer open.
A lovely restaurant which is only 8 minutes away in the San Giacomo area of Scerni.We can't resist the homemade ravioli with porcini mushrooms and freshly grated fresh truffles. Tables are available outside as well as inside.Easy parking by the nearby church.Closed on a Tuesday.

We had to share this with you.Not a restaurant but an amazing cooperative wine merchant.Pollutri is the city of wine and this is where all the local farmers take their grapes to be magically transformed into award winning red,white and rosè wine.

Christian is one of the nicest owners we've met. His restaurant is casual , the menu is extensive, the location is in the antique and characteristic part of Pollutri. Better to park in the town square and walk for 1 minute to the restaurant. His English is great as he worked in London and he is open every night in summer, off season closed on a Monday.

19 Via RomaChristian is one of the nicest owners we've met. His restaurant is casual , the menu is extensive, the location is in the antique and characteristic part of Pollutri. Better to park in the town square and walk for 1 minute to the restaurant. His English is great as he worked in London and he is open every night in summer, off season closed on a Monday.
Food Scene
A visit to Termoli is a must.The quaint narrow alleys in the old historic part of the town are special. We love this restaurant for it's great pasta and it specialises in meat dishes, so no fish is served but there are plenty of other fish restaurants in the town.Termoli is 40 minutes away by car.

Chieti in itself is a lovely town to visit but this restaurant owned and run by Paolo is a gem.Fantastic home cooked local dishes. You can't go wrong to come here.

This is the largest big supermarket located at Casalbordino , a 10 minute drive away.Eurospin is also close and found near the motorway exit behind the roundabout. lidl is at Vasto and Scerni village has 2 small supermarkets: Sisa and Blasio .
