Jackson's Point is a beautiful community located 20 minutes north of our house, at the bottom of Lake Simcoe. It has shopping, dining, beaches and a provincial park called Sibbald's Point. There is quite a strong artist community here as well, and is home to The Briar's Resort.

Mount Albert is only 5 minutes down our road and has a gas station, TD Bank, grocery store, restaurants, convenience stores, shopping, laundromat, and car wash! There are also some lovely parks to check out as well as walking trails!

Getting Around
The closest GO Train and GO bus station is in East Gwillimbury. There is no transportation from our house to get you there, but if you have a car, you can travel to the station and then take a train or bus to downtown Toronto as well as the surrounding area!

Food Scene
This is one of our favourite local restaurants, although we are foodies and have TONS of other recommendations. This restaurant is small and very friendly. Their menu features local produce and a wide variety of dishes. Parking is plentiful and free and they have a lovely patio as well!

Their menu features local produce and a wide variety of dishes. Parking is plentiful and free and they have a lovely patio as well!
If you enjoy Thai food then you are in luck because we have a fantastic restaurant only 15 minutes from the house. Will and Cleo take great pains to ensure each dish is seasoned properly and that you have a wonderful dining experience.
