About 20 minutes north of here is the international destination Harrison Hot springs. the cool air off of the massive lake makes visiting here on a hot day a real releif. enjoy an ice cream on the beach or go for a stroll to the hot springs location (10 min) or check out the Harrison Hotel. There is a Children's play area on the beach, and at least 4 dinner restaurants to choose from.

It's usually busy in the summer months with locals and tourists alike, getting some exercise and seeing the local forest up close. Looking closely, try to spot at lease 4 teapots hanging on the trees visible from the trail.
