Estepona is the next “bigger” city. Its 20minutes away from and it is a very cute little city. You can enjoy a nice meal at the beach restaurants or visit one of the markets. There is a Sunday Marina Market and Wednesdays there is also a big market which is one of the best local markets a long the Costa del Sol.

Gibralta is only 35 minutes away. You need your ID and I would recommend that you leave your car at a parking lot before the border because Gibralta is so small.

In Marbella there is always something going on. Its only 30 minutes away. The old town of Marbella is very pretty and very good for shopping. You should have some lunch or dinner at the Plaza de los Naranjos. Everywhere you will find the characteristic tapas bars, restaurants and cafés offering freshly squeezed orange juice and Spanish specialties.

Rental Car

The house is situated at the Magna Manliva/Bahia Las Rocas neighborhood, a very quiet, well connected part of Costa del Sol. We highly recommend that you rent a car. They are not too expensive if you rent at Malaga Airport.

Trinking Water

In Spain you cannot drink the tap water or use it for cooking, therefore we recommend you to use some of the big 5-10l canister you can buy everywhere. For the first days we organized one for you. You can find it in the basement.
