A modern (?) Cathedral that is well known for its use in the movie 'The Omen'. The cathedral sits upon a small hill and the golden angel on its roof can be seen from a fair distance away.

As part of the town centre, the High Street is cobbled and the cobble setts were remived, realigned and reset by a group of specialist workers a couple of years ago. Also in the High Street is our old clock (sitting above the Guildford House Gallery) which draws attention to some interesting architectural features.

This gallery is around a 10-15 minute drive away sits on the original home of George F Watts. Many of his paintings and sculptures can be seen in the gallery.
There is a relatively new area called the Artists Village on site where you can browse other work and make purchases, along with a very good tearoom. The gallery gets very busy at weekends and parking is limited.
A few minutes drive through the village of Compton brings you to Loseley Park which is a stately home and its grounds. The estate produces excellent dairy products and their ice cream is delicious.
