You'll spot a giant red lobster in front of this excellent local spot. Daily catch from Montauk is super-fresh ! The fishmonger Neal will give you cooking tips to sautee on stovetop, grill in oven or on bbq. The grocery sells all you will need for a simple supper and the deli has prepared soups. Milks, chips, charcoal and other basics plus embroidered North Sea baseball caps too.
Superb waterfront restaurant, a few minutes away overlooking a small harbor Wonderful Long Island duck confit appetizer that's large enough to be a main dish! Delicious steaks and salads too.

This is the birthplace of Tate's cookies and their coffee cake, pies and chocolate chip cookies are incredibly fresh and delicious. Two minutes by car going towards Sag Harbor. Look for the large egg sign on the road and you will see the farm right behind the shop. There's everything from freshly bottled milk and freshly laid eggs to home baked breads (if you get there in the morning) to freshly picked berries as well as corn and other veg!

Watch for blue historic signs for the trail head to walk the path of Conscience Point to the water. Or if you're coming from our cottage, it's 5 minutes by car or a 15 minute kyack from the backyard diagonally across the cove.

The extraordinarily sugar sand beach at the end of our road -- the shallow waters are Caribbean blue. This is a salt way cove off the bay that is enjoyed by kyakers and swimmers alike. Ideal for children as often totally glassy still. We have an outdoor shower on the studio to wash off the sand and salt. Towd Point Beach is just a short stroll down the block but there's parking too and a bench for watching the sunset too!

Comfy slippers as we're a shoes-off home. Loungewear or yoga clothes always helpful for relaxing. Layers especially a waterproof windbreaker or hoodie as beaches are breezy !-- Fleece or sweaters or shawls good for the evening cool and for stargazing !

Best fresh produce farm grown on Long Island !!
Fruits, berries, and vegetables all amazing here at North Sea Farm -- this is also the best spot for fruit pies and chocolate chip cookies -- this is the birthplace of Tate's.
Organic chickens and finger licking bbq sauce too. Simply marinate a few hours or night before & pop into oven or on grill outside or in oven and crisped under broiler in stove!
