Local Beaches
None of the beaches are pet friendly unfortunately.
Water temperature is good from November through June (average of 20 degrees).
Come at the right time of year and you'll see whales and dolphins on their migration.
Your local beach from the Greenhouse. It's long, clean and has a rockpool for swimming if you don't like ocean swimming. A few good surf spots too.

Although our beaches aren't dog friendly - we do have some great places to take them!
The beach you can take your dog to that's 5 minutes from the Greenhouse. Always busy with dogs of all shapes and sizes, Rowland Reserve has a huge grassed area, beach and ocean access for your dog to play, sniff and swim.

If you're visiting Sydney; you've got to go see the Opera House! Either get the bus from Mona Vale into Sydney CBD; drive yourself; or get the ferry from Manly (this is the best option!) to explore Sydney city.
