Mel's is another top four restaurant of ours in Cooperstown. Mel's is a staple for locals for great food, special event meals (new year's etc), and has a very strong following locally.

Another top four restaurant in Cooperstown NY. Bocca has a wonderful atmosphere and amazing Italian foods. Try the vedura greens and possibly a wood fired pizza, all of which are very unique and tasty.

For a nice night out, great food, nice wine, a huge outdoor fire table, and views overlooking the Otsega lake, The Hawkeye or The Otseaga hotel are in our top four restaurants.

Tinos is Oneontan's favorite local pizzeria. There are many pizzerias in this town, but Tinos is one of the best! They offer pizza by the slice, a lunch special with a drink, or by the pie (sheet, regular, etc). They have a large number of specialty pizzas, all of which are unique and amazing. A must try if you like pizza.

Hill City Grill is an upscale restaurant in Oneonta, which is at the top of our list. They offer a nice variety of specials and have a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Bella Michael's is our favorite local Italian restaurant, which is named after the chef's daughter. The food is amazing, with large portions and a large variety of dishes to try.
If you are in a rush, or don't have time to sit and spend some time, call ahead and order out. You won't be disappointed.

We love international foods, and for a Thai restaurant, Oneonta is spoiled with Simply Thai! They have very traditional dishes that are so flavorful. Favorite is the Thai Basil and Green Curry.

Brewery Ommegang is a must see if you are a beer lover and want to try a world renowned beer. Along with their mainstay beers, they are always experimenting with seasonal flavors...I've never had one I didn't like. In addition to great beer, they have a very small but very tasty menu. A favorite eatery of my kids for their birthdays.

A brewery that has no frills, but amazing beer, this is another stop I highly recommend. Additionally, they have a great menu with wonderful food. Friday nights can be very busy with the fish fry (a local favorite).

Not a brewery, but has a great selection of bottled or tap beers in a very nice, casual atmosphere. Additionally they have great food here. If you catch them early enough, you can have some of the specials (until they run out). They also have the mainstays that are always available.

When you are in the Cooperstown NY area a must see/visit location is the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. With several floors the document the history of the game, the standout players, and highlighting America's pastime, it is well worth a few hours (or days) to explore its halls.
