WALKS & SIGHTSEEING
If you turn right out of our driveway and drive for a couple of minutes you’ll come to the West Cooroy State Forest. It’s a special place for bird lovers and it is the No. 9 site on the Noosa Bird Trail. There are many mountain bike tracks to be explored. (Some may be impassable in wet weather however). Cool, quiet and peaceful, its a great place to practice mindfulness!

Point Glorious Lookout
Point Glorious RoadThe top of Point Glorious is the place to take in the most amazing views of this area. It’s not far from us and we'll give you directions. At the Noosa Botanic Gardens at Lake MacDonald you’ll be able to walk on a pathway around 8 hectares of beautifully kept lake-side gardens. It’s open 24 hours and it’s free! We often take a picnic to have there as there are many tables and seats – several are undercover in little wooden huts.

Lake MacDonald DriveAt the Noosa Botanic Gardens at Lake MacDonald you’ll be able to walk on a pathway around 8 hectares of beautifully kept lake-side gardens. It’s open 24 hours and it’s free! We often take a picnic to have there as there are many tables and seats – several are undercover in little wooden huts.
The Noosa National Park has a great path through it, positioned so you walk through the forest easily while at the same time you can look out to stunning sea views. In one visit we saw koalas in the forest and dolphins and whales swimming quite close to the shore! There is also a cute café which you may particularly appreciate after doing the longer walk. If you like sunbathing, you will love the beach there!

The Noosa beaches are fabulous and safe to walk on all year round. We haven’t seen a crocodile yet! You will get to the Main Beach first but you will find quieter beaches if you drive through Hastings Street first. You may find that you want to stop and enjoy this beautiful street before the beach. The Street has a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and cafés in a beautiful tree-lined setting.

The Noosa beaches are fabulous and safe to walk on all year round. We haven’t seen a crocodile yet! You will get to the Main Beach first but you will find quieter beaches if you drive through Hastings Street first. You may find that you want to stop and enjoy this beautiful street before the beach. The Street has a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and cafés in a beautiful tree-lined setting.
There is an easy flat walk (mostly paved) from one end to the other at the side of the Noosa River. There are many spots to sit down and savour the beauty. On the opposite side of Gympie Terrace Road there are lots of restaurants and cafés to choose from.

Gympie TerraceThere is an easy flat walk (mostly paved) from one end to the other at the side of the Noosa River. There are many spots to sit down and savour the beauty. On the opposite side of Gympie Terrace Road there are lots of restaurants and cafés to choose from.
COOLOOLABIN DAM can be found just 7 ks on from Point Glorious, . Here there is a very beautiful, peaceful easy walk around one side of the dam with great views. It is particularly lovely in the warmer weather as the walk is shady and cool. There's lots of birdlife and there are picnic tables, toilets and parking.

COOLOOLABIN DAM can be found just 7 ks on from Point Glorious, . Here there is a very beautiful, peaceful easy walk around one side of the dam with great views.
