Sea viewing side of French Honorary Consulate Building, which has been serving since 1875 in Izmir as one of the most beautiful works of its period, was assigned to Arkas Holding by the French Government for a period of 20 years to be used for cultural and artistic purposes. Following one year restoration works, the building was opened under the title “Arkas Art Center” in 2011.

Atatürk Museum,once Ataturk's house, which has a kind of a neoclassical structure, is now a museum. It is used by Ataturk while carrying out his personal working in 1923. In 1926, the building is given Ataturk as a gift by İzmir Municipality.

Firstly a depot was made in 1929 in Selcuk, and artifacts from digs were brought in here. This museum is an important structure in which artifacts from the Ancient City of Ephesus, which was being excavated for over a hundred years, are displayed.
Exhibition in the museum building used today started in 1964. In the museum are artifacts from the Ephesus digs.
The artifacts’ history starts at 4000 B.C. and goes all the way to the Prehistoric, Mycenaean Archaic, Classic, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljukian and Ottoman Eras
