Early on Sunday mornings, Geneva’s local farm producers and cooks, gather at one of the most dazzlingly colorful outdoor markets in the city: the Plain of Plainpalais. In my opinion, this is one of the most picture-postcard-perfect outdoor food markets in the city and the only one that runs on Sundays.

Globus is located in the heart of Geneva's old town and the high-end shopping/banking district that runs along side Lac Geneva.
Be sure to check out the lower level of the Globus Food Court to view their extraordinary grocery hall. There you will find colorful assortments of meats, cheeses, a juice bar, Swiss teas, worldwide wines, spices, fresh pastas, sauces and desserts. The other worthwhile section is floor one (1), the Coffee/Wine Bar that serves quick lunches (salads, pizza, seafood, quiche), expresso/capps, wine & beer on tap.
Globus is foremost a department store so if you're in the mood to shop - jump on the escalator to explore. As you exit the Globus Coffee/Wine Bar - note the exterior cobble stone plaza as the stone tiles are inscribed with inspirational messages such as 'thank you, be happy, you're welcome' in multiple languages.

Best Japanese in town located at the upper four of the Four Seasons Geneva. Everything tasty. I personally suggest the truffle beef rolls and the crispy rice tuna.

Located on the top floor of the Confédération Centre shopping mall, Brasserie Lipp is a typical brasserie as you enter you will see the old counter, padded benches and chandeliers. The food is amazing!!!

Several statues of note inhabit the park including the ‘Monument National,’ and a sculpted bronze fountain by Alexis Andre.
