8028 Centerville RdA beautiful trail featuring wildflowers and birds, leading down to a secluded segment of Centerville Beach that is perfect for peaceful walks and finding fossils. Follow Centerville Road to Centerville Beach. The road continues up a steep hill and traverses up and down a couple more hills and you will see a sign on your right.
Fleener Creek Trail
A beautiful trail featuring wildflowers and birds, leading down to a secluded segment of Centerville Beach that is perfect for peaceful walks and finding fossils. Follow Centerville Road to Centerville Beach. The road continues up a steep hill and traverses up and down a couple more hills and you will see a sign on your right.
This is an amazing and scenic walk that follows a historic dike along Hookton Slough, one of the branches of Humboldt Bay. The dike is topped by a gravel road with interpretive signs. Distance one-way is about 1.5 miles. You will see a wide variety of shore birds, geese, swans, ducks and migratory wildlife depending on the time of year.

Enjoy the local beach - a beautiful sheltered ocean cove. Trinidad Head itself on your left. Continue on the trail to connect to a road on the other side of the head which loops you back to where you started.
