Here are some of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. Hope this is helpful.
This a cozy and extremely good Japanese restaurant specializing in Sushi dishes. This is a family run outfit that is one of the gems of Seattle. Paul Newman used to come here for sushi when he visited Seattle. The people are super friendly and the food is to die for - try the uni (often from Hokkaido) - it is out of this world!

A good Thai restaurant in the 'hood. Marlai is better but it is a bit of a trek (about 15 mins drive instead of 3-5 mins drive or walkable). 2CThai's larb gai and tom kha gai never fail to hit the spot!

This place is great for wine tours and tastings. In Summer the concert series outdoors on their fabulous lawns and gardens is a highlight of Seattle summer!

Amazing Seafood - a favorite in the city but being in Ballard it is about 35 mins from Oasis in Cedar Park so a bit of a trek - worth it if you have the time and that is one of the best walkable neighborhoods in Seattle. Try it!
