I am a foodie. If there is one thing I love...it's eating! And like everyone, I have my favorites on the island. Here's a list of the must-eats around the island in no particular order...
Paia Fish Market South is the perfect first meal after dropping your luggage at the bungalow...and it's close! It's a 5 minute walk from the bungalow. In our opinion, the best fish tacos/fish platters on the island.

Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS at Leoda's. Especially the pies (obviously). If you like Brussels sprouts, I highly recommend trying the fried salad. Leoda's scalloped potatoes are heavenly and their Cobb salad is HUGE. The bread and pies are baked daily and you'll never go wrong trying out the special. Located halfway between Kihei and Lahaina, it's the perfect pitstop either on the way to or the way back from the West Side.

Curries, crepes, and platters oh my! I have yet to try one thing on the menu at Cafe Des Amis that I don't like. But my hands down favorite is the Bengal spice shrimp curry. Hippie pizza. It's a thing. It's a good thing. Get the Mopsy (kalua pork, bbq sauce, goat cheese, and pineapple). SO YUMMY.

Famous for their mango salsa topped fish tacos and taco mountains. Their coleslaw has a delicious twist (horseradish?) and the atmosphere is fun with surfboard shaped tables and big screen tv's playing surf videos. Their customer service is world class. Not to miss.

Go before 5 pm to enjoy their pitas and lunch menu prices. Dinner is amazing too, just pricier. I have my favorites on rotation. But any of them will knock your socks off. Rumor has it that the owner fishes at night and brings his fresh catch in to the restaurant the next day. Now that's fresh! Oh, and don't you dare leave without trying the ice cream baklava cake. Seriously. My mouth is watering just thinking about it...

Rumor has it that the owner fishes at night and brings his fresh catch in to the restaurant the next day. Now that's fresh! Oh, and don't you dare leave without trying the ice cream baklava cake. Seriously. My mouth is watering just thinking about it...
Best coffee on Maui say some (and plant wall--but you'll have to visit to see for yourself). I, for one, go there multiple times a week for their homemade cinnamon rolls. But if you want one, go early. They sell out fast! Oh, and if you want to hang out in a hanging chair, that's where you'll find me on a rainy day. They have a second location in Wailea where their menu is expanded and their outdoor dining is large. But no plant wall or hanging chairs--so I recommend visiting both to get the best of both worlds!
