Newhaven

The town of Newhaven is dominated by the river Ouse and a ring road, but fortunately, there is a pedestrian crossing to get over the latter, and so gain access to the town. The center of the town center is pedestrianized with a bread shop and “7-11” general store half-way down the high street, on the right. The post office is in a small shopping center, accessible little further down the high street on the right. Beyond the post office is a fitness center (‘Seahaven’) with a pool and gym. The largest local supermarket, Sainsbury’s (which also has a petrol station), is about a mile away, across the river, on the left, 250 yards beyond the flyover.
Nice little spot.
