Ways to get around Dunedin

One of the first questions we get is" Do we need to rent a car?" My answer is usually NO not if you are here for a few days. Our town is easy to get around in and most of what you might need is in walking distance. Here are a few ways to get around that make your life a little easier.

The Trolley is by far the best way to see neighboring towns and explore. Trolley runs North to Tarpon Springs and South to Clearwater Beach. Plenty of places to get on and off. Small charge to ride for the day. Some have A/C, some are open air. You can bring chairs and umbrellas on board to go to the beach. Just don't be in a rush, this is more for fun and sightseeing and a ride!

The Ferry leaves Dunedin Marina and takes you to Clearwater Beach. It costs 8$ per one way trip. The Marina has more info on times it leaves and docks. Fun way to see our Intercostal waterway and hopefully a dolphin and or manatee.
