We recommend "The Reef" since over 20 years. We go there ourselves and our guests love the friendly athmosphere right at the beach! The food is great there and very reasonably priced.

Drinks & Nightlife
Here we usually go to have drinks and tropical cocktails. Also they have often entertainment like life music etc. It's the ideal place for evening outings right by the beach. You can meet locals and tourists from all over the world. The food is great too.

Laborie is not too far from Vieux-Fort. In the village or at their beach are often life music concerts. Every last Friday of the months you can enjoy the "Laborie Fish Fest", which is very popular in the south.
Also our guests like a change from our Atlantic beach in Vieux-Fort to Laborie, which beach is at the Caribbean Sea and much calmer.
Laborie is a lovely very Caribbean village with some good local restaurants, like "Mama Tilly's".

Laborie
Laborie is not too far from Vieux-Fort. In the village or at their beach are often life music concerts. Every last Friday of the months you can enjoy the "Laborie Fish Fest", which is very popular in the south.
Also our guests like a change from our Atlantic beach in Vieux-Fort to Laborie, which beach is at the Caribbean Sea and much calmer.

Parks & Nature
Beach at the atlantic side. Very good for kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking and swimming. Sitting on this beach at the kite spot you are facing our 2 twin islets Maria Major and Maria Minor, which are a nature reserve and under protection. Two very rare species, a snake and a lizard live on Maria Major.
Anse Des Sables Beach
Beach at the atlantic side. Very good for kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking and swimming. Sitting on this beach at the kite spot you are facing our 2 twin islets Maria Major and Maria Minor, which are a nature reserve and under protection. Two very rare species, a snake and a lizard live on Maria Major.

Piton Management Area
The famous Pitons are our heritage site. You can climb Gros Piton, but have to arrange for a guide.
It's only 45 minutes drive from Villa Caribbean Dream to the site. Recommended is an early climb before it gets too hot and take a lot of water with you. Don't forget proper showes... no slippers!!

There are lots of local little boutiques on our main road Clarke's Street. Also you find a good supermarket "Massy" as well as Kentucky Fried Chicken KFC and Dominos pizza here. A new gem is the Japanese/Local restaurant "Twa Kabawe Cafe", where you find lovely sushi recipes as well as wonderful cakes and ice cream!

Getting Around
We have an Avis Car Rental at our International airport Hewanorra. There are also other local car rentals around Vieux-Fort. We are happy to assist our guests. We recommend our local car rental "Martin Car Rental". We work with them since many years. They are usualy a bit more reasonable in price and their service is super. They treat our guests always special!
