Everything you would expect from a family-run country kitchen. Good food at good prices served by friendly warm local people. If you are lucky enough to find a butter tart that was not immediately snatched up, be sure to do so yourself. Some of the best you will ever taste!

Recently re-opened and killing it, this little place is great for take-out and dine-in. We are lucky to have a little spice added to mix by these great folks.

As the name suggests, this beautiful trailway weaves from the Town of Elora to Cataract and runs right behind Tailwinds. With the Hillsburgh trail head metres from our door, you can explore both directions by foot, bike, horseback or even snowmobile depending on the season.
Forty seven kilometres of well maintained crushed limestone "rail trail" weave through small communities that offer charming stops if you venture from end to end. Starting from Tailwinds you can explore both directions by bike in "out and back" fashion. Or, if you are simply looking for a peaceful walk, steps from your starting point you enter lush green forests filled with wildlife.
