One of my personal favorite hikes, it is about an hour drive from the AirBnb. It is a little longer ~7 miles and has some elevation gain but if you are up for it the view at the top is so worth it! For this hike you will need a discover pass which you can pick up for $10 from most grocery stores.

Gorgeous park in the middle of Seattle. Has a 3 mile walking loop that has gorgeous views of the Sound. Perfect place to go when you want to stay in the city but get out in nature too!

Getting Around
If you didn't bring a car this is the stop you can use for downtown express buses. Each trip is $2.50 per person. I walk there every day to get to work and it takes me about 15 minutes to get to this stop from the house.

Sightseeing
Classic Seattle market, must-see when touring Seattle. It has many different vendors selling food and art. Even though it is a touristy place to visit, a lot of locals go there. I like to go and pick up large, beautiful and inexpensive bouquets on my lunch break!

If you are staying in Seattle for a few days I would highly recommend a trip to one of the islands. The islands around the Puget Sound is what makes Seattle such a unique place to live! It is a little bit of a trek, and requires a car. You can drive your car onto the ferry for about $10, the crossing is about 30 minutes. Whidbey has lovely beaches and excellent restaurants and shopping. Would be a great place to get oysters or have a beach picnic.

This bar has the best view of the sound in Seattle. Close to downtown, stop by here after a day of seeing the sights for a sunset drink! It is located in the Thompson hotel, before you go up the elevator a greeter will check your ID then scan you up to the floor with the bar. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area. It gets crowded so depending on your luck you may have to stand and admire the view rather than sit. Drinks are pricey for Seattle at ~$14.

If you have seen the documentary Jiro dreams of sushi, one of the chefs on that documentary (the apprentice who kept trying to make the perfect egg dish), owns this restaurant. The sushi as you would expect is phenomenal.
