Sightseeing
Kilauea light house is located up north in a very picturesque location. There are hundreds of white tailed birds on ridges surrounding the light house. Tours of the light house are offered but it is based on availability in the sign up sheet. Even if you are not able to get on a tour you will still still enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. There is a 5$ per person entrance fee and the place closes at 4 pm. There is a small gift store and a visitor center with information on the history of the light house. Very neatly maintained

Hideaway Beach on Kauai’s north shore is a beautiful spot for snorkeling during calm weather. This spot can be accessed by steep path neer the Pali Ke Kua Condos. Hideaways Beach is true to the name and this secluded beach is worth the trek, but it is advisable to use extreme caution and is probably best left to those who are in good health and physical condition
