More in the In the neighborhood, a tour to Eenigenburg is recommended: - Cycle in a northerly direction on the Westfriesedijk through the small village of Krabbendam. - Turn right onto the trambaan, then the first left. Turn left and you will arrive at 't Huys te Nuwendore', a ruin of a castle from the 13th century, and now a beautiful viewpoint over the area. - Cycle back and turn left, then the first right again onto Heemtweg. On your right you will find the 'Groenteboet', with fresh greens straight from the land. Handy: you can also pay there with a QR code. A little further on the left you will find the Heemtmeer, for walking or fishing. - Cycle back in the same direction and turn right, and then right again at the end. Here you will find on your right the mini-museum Eenigenburg: https://museumeenigenburg.nl/ Note: only open on Sunday afternoons. - Turn left to Eenigenburg. Here you will find an organic farm a little further on your right 'de Buitenplaats': http://www.loeigoeiezuivel.nl/ In the always open 'Zuivelhuisje' you can buy freshly made dairy products, plus homemade liqueurs and delicious ice cream in summer. You can also pin here. - Cross over and you will come to probably the smallest church in the Netherlands. - Cycle back and turn right. Drive all the way to end and then left onto the historic 'Westfriese omringdijk' - You cycle this road back to the Westfriesedijk, again through Krabbendam and home.
