Drinks & Nightlife

It is the best to have a drink in the evening before your going out. It's in Kalemegdan fortress in the center of the city. There are three bars next to each other but this is the first one, so don't miss it. It's in bohemian stile with great view, good DJ music, and people who is having fun.

is the largest park and the most important historical monument in Belgrade.[1] It is located on a 125-metre-high (410 ft) cliff, at the junction of the River Sava and the Danube. Its name is formed from the two Turkish words: "Kale" (meaning "fortress") and archaic word of Turkish origin "megdan" (meaning "battlefield"). Kalemegdan Park, split in two as the Great and Little Parks, was developed in the area that once was the town field. It provides places of rest and entertainment. Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park together represent a cultural monument of exceptional importance (from 1979), the area where various sport, cultural and arts events take place, for all generations of Belgrad

Kosančićev venac is a jewel hidden in the heart of the city, definitely worth visiting, though many Belgraders wouldn’t remember it if you ask them what should you see. It is a historical neighborhood in Downtown Belgrade, part of the Savamala district. It spans from Kalemegdan park to Brankova street, and from the Cathedral to Brankov bridge and the Sava port. It is a preserved 19th (and early 20th) century urban neighborhood with cobblestone streets, beautiful houses and several larger and smaller staircases, 2 or 3 of them leading to Karadjordjeva street and the Sava river front. In Karađorđeva, at the bottom of the slopes there are several caves called “lagumi” that were used in Turkish

is a Serbian Orthodox church located on the Vračar plateau in Belgrade. It is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world[4] and ranks among the largest church buildings in the world. The church is dedicated to Saint Sava, the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church and an important figure in medieval Serbia. It is built on the Vračar plateau, on the location where his remains were burned in 1595 by Ottoman Grand Vizier Sinan Pasha. From its location, it dominates Belgrade's city escape, and is perhaps the most monumental building in the city.
