3.PALO VERDE NATIONAL PARK Wild life & Culture Tour Palo Verde National Park is a very important nesting and feeding habitat for local and migratory birds in Costa Rica. As you glide down the Tempisque River enjoy the diversity of the wildlife of the tropical dry forest and mangrove zone. On this tour you may see howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, giant iguanas, Jesus-Christ-lizards, big crocodiles, many kind of birds, raccoons, etc. If you want, a capuchin monkey may sit on top of your head. After the boat ride visit the Pottery Making of Guaitil. You will see the native artisans as they make beautiful pottery and be able to purchase some for your trip home. 2.VOLCANO MIRAVALLES Tour Thermal bath, waterfalls, hanging bridges, Zip-lines The tour starts with a walk on the slope of the mountain through a piece of virgin tropical transitory forest with its immense trees. The humid climate enriches the forest with a diversity of ferns, lichens, bromeliads, etc. You may also see capuchin or howler monkeys, raccoons, quaties, agouties, and other animals of the forest. Then you´ll glide down on the cables of the zip- lines from platform to platform o n t h e crowns of those beautiful trees. After lunch you´ll head to the hanging bridges by either horseback riding or on a tractor wagon ride. You will walk to 4 waterfalls.
