The Gateway to Yellowstone National Park!! What a quaint little town it is, so many shops, bars, animals, restaurants, gas, gifts, river entertainment, you might even have to stop your car to let the elk cross the road! Then go into the park!

Just a short 40 minute drive from my home, longer if you run into some elk or big horn sheep along the way!! Everyone has a great time in Yellowstone Park. So much to see even in the winter months, Mammoth has a lot of information at the Albright Center. Drive up to Cooke City and have lunch, see some winter life in the park. Chico is fun for the whole family! Minutes away from my house. Offering a natural hot springs pool, with bar and poolside grille. On weekends kick up your heels to live music in the bar, or enjoy a 5 star dinner. Gift shop, barn, convention center, so many activities. My family loves Chico, grandkids used to call it "Hot Chico".

Maybe pick up a jar of canned goods made by D&D West Greenhouse family, enjoy it when you get home. Check out the beautiful flowers, either take them home or give to someone that made your vacation fantastic.

Located just inside the park's north entrance, look for the 45th parallel sign and turnout for boiling river. Easily accessible trail that is aprox. 1/2 mile hike, and is open dusk to dawn. No spring soaking in high water! For info check with Visitor center or gate. This is a true outdoor experience!!! Where the Boiling River & Cool Gardiner River come together to make a perfect temp for soaking away the day! While watching wildlife right next to you!!
