Fishing, boating, swimming in a 144 square mile mountain lake. Boat launch ramps nearby, as well as swimming holes ( no beaches, just local swimming holes!) for hot sunny days. Lake Appalachia is nearby also, as well as lake chatuge and Notley.

Nantahal river rafting and kayaking is one hour away. Our house would be a good place for a small group to spend the weekend on a rafting excursion.

We are right in the middle of motorcycling heaven! Stay at our house and do the Joe Brown loop. Joe brown highway to hwy 74 east to hwy 129 Tail of the Dragon. After riding the Dragon, take cherohala skyway to Tell I o plains, tn and then tn68 back to nc 294, left on Hiwassee dam access road, across the dam, right on joe brown and back to our house for an all day motorcycle loop!
