If you drive west 10 kilometers from Okotoks on highway 7 towards the town of Black Diamond you will find The Big Rock which is the remnants of a huge glacier that used to span across the prairies.... Not only are you allowed to view the Big Rock you are also allowed to climb on it, it is a fun site to see and the rock is huge check out history.alberta.ca/okotoks/ for more information...
