Getting Around
The Karangahake Gorge cycleway links Waihi to Paeroa. It is a popular cycle/walk way alongside the river. Passing by historic monuments. It is an easy track with stunning scenery all the way. I recommend stopping off at Waikino railway station cafe for great coffee & food. Bikes can be hired.
