There are plenty of restaurants within the Cité. They are very expensive. You will find restaurants in the town centre are better quality, less crowded, and less expensive.

Stock up with food and drink
The closest shops are quite a distance, so I recommend that you shop for food and drink before you arrive. You will find supermarkets in both Mazamet and Carcassonne. There is an épicerie in the nearby village of Mas Cabardès (4km) but it it has very limited opening hours.
