The Currant Shed is our award-winning onsite restaurant, located just a short walk from our houses. In fact, if you stay at Clement's House you're just a 10-second walk from the restaurant.
The Currant Shed has stood tall for over 100 years in McLaren Vale. Built initially in 1916 to serve as a drying house for local currants, today The Currant Shed is a stylish, lunch-only restaurant who supports over 50 local businesses with a focus on a ‘garden to plate’ philosophy. The Currant Shed is known for it's luxurious long-lunches where guests are encouraged to relax and soak up the picturesque surroundings.
We're open Thursday - Tuesday from 11.30am - 3pm. Booking ahead recommended.
Happily caters to all dietary requirements & food allergies.

Over the last 40 years, our winery Shottesbrooke has grown significantly from being a boutique, “off the beaten track” McLaren Flat Cellar Door, into a one-stop cluster business offering the very best of quintessential McLaren Vale to tourists. Our 60 acres is home to vineyards, our Cellar Door and high-tech winery, and we offer a range of exciting wine and food experiences. Experiences require a booking ahead of time, but from Thursday - Tuesday we're open for tastings from 11-5, no booking required. We're a family-friendly and pet-friendly Cellar Door too, so the whole family is welcome.
