We are next door to this breathtaking view - a lovely walk up the driveway to visit the historic rose garden - gorgeous views of the Pauatahanui Inlet.
The Pauatahanui Burial Ground is next to the Historic Church of St Albans at Pauatahanui village. From October to December is a beautiful time to visit to see the wonderful display of old roses. The area is hidden from view from the road, and even on going up the drive to the church, you still can’t see the Burial Ground. So when you walk through the gap in the hedge and see the roses for the first time, it is quite breathtaking. Great billowing mounds of roses tumble down the slopes, hugging the lichen-encrusted tombstones of young and old.

Also... is the only one I have ever been to as am just new to golf! Let us know if you need to borrow a few clubs to go and have a hit - it's a fantastic walk and gorgeous setting for just $15 a round.

All plants are propagated and/or grown on at the nursery. We grow over 900 varieties of Native & Exotic trees, shrubs and perennials. The nursery is well laid out, with 1 acre of selling area. If the informative labels aren’t enough, our professional and friendly staff (who’ve actually grown the plants) will be pleased to help.
