Even though this restaurant is geared toward tourists, you can't leave South Lake Tahoe without having a Wet Woody from Riva! My personal favorite is the Sailor Jerry's Wet Dream. You can also enjoy some of the best views of the lake while enjoying a fantastic dinner.

No need to visit Germany! Go to Himmel Haus and get transported to Germany instead. You walk in and immediately feel like you traveled through space to another country. The food is authentic and delicious! Their appetizers are my favorites!

If you haven't heard of Emerald Bay, then this is your sign to go! This is another place that you cannot leave Lake Tahoe without seeing. At the very least, take a drive past it, but you can also hike Eagle Point to get an amazing view.

Bears frequently roam around our neighborhood, so make sure you are always aware of your surroundings! Never leave food in your car and always lock the doors.

The farmer's market is right down the street from our house every Friday in the summer. They have local food and art vendors as well as food trucks and music!

More often than not, Lake Tahoe has cold weather in the mornings and evenings, and warm weather in the middle of the day. Layers are a perfect addition to your suitcase so that you can be the most comfortable throughout the day!
