Botanical Beach is at the farthest end of the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail. It offers an easy trail to the beach with incredible views out to the open ocean and many tide pools with sea life such as crabs and sea anemones along the shore. (PEASE Don’t touch, remove or disturb any tide pool life including shells, plants, fauna, kelp, etc. – they are all part of a vulnerable ecosystem that Botanical Beach was established to protect. Even touching the water in a tide pool with sunscreen on your hands can create an “oil slick” that could kill the vulnerable creatures. Please take only Photos) It is best to visit during low tide (1.2 meters or less is best) so you might want to check tide levels first Waterlevel. gc .ca
