Neighborhoods
Friendly with a small town feel. Jamaica Beach is a small neighborhood in Galveston that is it’s own city! Galveston main shopping and attractions are about 15 min drive. The beach is a mile from your Turtle haven vacation house. Lots of vacationers rent golf carts and drive to and on the beach. Sunset rides are my favorite!

Galveston Island state park is connected to Jamaica beach. There is a convenient store and restaurants in Jamaica Beach along with Spoony and Billy’s to go daquari’s. (Pina colada is the best!)
The West bay is right outside your back door to explore on one of the paddle boards. Fishing and crabbing is great right off our pier. Green light is under water and shines at night to attract fish. Neighborhood pool ( typically open Memorial - Labor Day $5 per person for 5 and up) normally open and two playgrounds, basketball court along with large picnic pavilion for gatherings.

Watch for the flag warnings when you enter the beach daily. And be aware of rip currents.

Go to Kroger.com or get the app and order your groceries online. Choose a pickup time and drive up for your supplies. The home has coffee/filters, oil for cooking, some spices, foil, trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels.

They can set up any beach get-togethers or any equipment along with bonfires and smores at the beach. Massages and family photos. A ton of services to make your vacation more fun and memorable.
