When you go North to Polson from my airbnb at the top of Polson hill. There is a pull out to stop and see Flathead lake. Take pictures there. Largest natural lake west of Mississippi.

Flathead lake is a great lake to do all of your water sports and there are rental places for boats, jet ski's, etc. Fishing is great on the lake or Flathead river. It reaches from Polson to Kalispell there is a road to loop all the way around it.

If you are visiting in the spring or summer the cherry orchards are all along this road. The blossoms and the cherries will have you hooked. Bing and Rainier cherries are abundant.

If driving North from Missoula when you get out of Ravalli valley and start climbing St. Ignatius hill get ready to pull over at the top at the rest area. Your first look at the Mission Mountains is breath taking.

Just out of Ronan, In the Mission Mountain Range are unbelievable trails for people who love to hike. Need a conservation license, but can get it locally. There are hidden lakes and great wild life.
