The best place to order a traditional Peka meal (under the bell) Order ahead to have a meat or octopus peka prepared for your arrival time. Best option for those travelling with a vehicle. The town is inland but is well worth the short drive to this quaint village. https://konobadol.com/

If you find yourself in the Main port town of Supetar, either passing through for travels, or enjoying a local fjera, Vinotoka is a great spot loved my locals and returning guests with traditional Dalmatian food. High season requires a reservation. https://konoba-vinotoka.eatbu.hr/?lang=hr Usually open Spring thru autumn

One of our favourite Day trips is to Osibova Bay in Milna, Pack a lunch and find a slab of rock to sun bath in the stunning bay. Careful of the Sea urchins (which a sure sign of super clean water) https://goo.gl/maps/s5ubpDt8CWHd1Ldq9 Stop in the town of Milna, stroll along the Marina, and have the best pizza on the Island and Pizzeria Slika (reservations for dinner highly recommended in high season) https://gastro-milna.business.site/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=referral

Zlatni Rat (The golden horn) One of the most famous beaches in the Adriatic, worth the crowds in the summer, and simply magical in the empty off season. The west side is always windier (from the open sea). Enjoy a canteen lunch or coffee in the shaded center, and stroll along the walkway to the town of Bol where you can have dinner or a wine tasting at Stina. https://www.chasingthedonkey.com/stina-winery-bol-croatia/ Closer by is another beach-going favourite - Murvica (prepare yourself of a hike) Or the Domincan Monestary http://www.bol-croatia.net/monastery.html Make sure to stop on the way at the lookout point "Vidova Gora" if you have your own transportation https://croatia.hr/en-gb/outdoors-and-active-holidays/walking-and-hiking/vidova-gora-on-the-island-of-brac

Voted the beast beach in Europe in 2016. Pack a cooler with lunch and drinks, or ask your skipper for an amazing lunch/dinner recommendation in Hvar. The best way to see Stiniva bay is on a speedboat Island Tour. The most divine experience that we do every year personally. book an Island tour to see Stiniva and other beautiful spots on 4 islands at : bookingbrac.com

Getting to Mirca

If you are coming by car, then the ferry from Split to Brac is the only way to go. If you are looking to get from the airport, you can take an airport shuttle (which runs regularly). It is about a 40 minute drive to the main bus terminal which is directly across from the ferry terminal where you can purchase tickets to Brac. From Supetar you can take a taxi to Mirca (there are many waiting at the ferry) Our favourite way to reach brac is by speedboat taxi (bookingbrac.com) which brings you from the airport dock directly to lower Mirca. We personally find it completely worth it.
