Dune by LT (few short blocks to walk from the house): Upscale American/continental/Asian cuisine in a gorgeous ambiance. This is the first restaurant from a Michelin Star chef in Fort Lauderdale. It’s located at the Auberge Residences, where you’ll likely go to the beach. Open Tues-Sat for Happy Hour and Dinner. Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm and is one of our favorites!

Take a short (~10 min) drive to this charming, beach town. Stroll the shops and have a meal or ice cream. Our favorites are Taco Craft for lunch/dinner and then a visit to Kilwins for ice cream and homemade fudge. Our kids love Sloan’s ice cream which is partly a toy store.

Not sure why this is appearing as Las Olas Isles. I’m recommending a visit to Las Olas, a big destination street in downtown Fort Lauderdale (~15-20 min drive) where you can stroll the shops, restaurants and bars. A Lauderdale favorite is Louis Bossi with fantastic pasta and pizza in a quintessential Italian ambiance. Make reservations for Louis Bossi several days in advance or simply walk down the street and visit one of the many restaurants there.
Las Olas Isles
Not sure why this is appearing as Las Olas Isles.
