Beach
The closest beach will be walking out of Elysium property and turning left towards Barrio Escondido (50m) before entering the barrio take the right walking trail (about 70m) that will lead you directly to the white sand Fisherman beach. If you take the left trail it will lead you to the black sand beach and the lagoon which is right under Elysium.
If you would like to go to a more quiet beach you can go to the entrance of San Juanillo village, go through the main road and turn left after the football field, there you will find a walking path that will take you down to the other white sand beach.

The Ostional national reservation is a place where the sea turtles that hatched on this beach are coming back to lay their eggs in it. When you are here check if there is an "Arribada" (when the female turtles arrive to lay eggs) or if it is time for the baby turtle to hatch. Entrance at these times is possible only with a local guide that will take you around to see this marvel of life while making sure not to interrupt the wild life. The village people are taking care of the reservation and the turtles all year round.

The Ostional national reservation is a place where the sea turtles that hatched on this beach are coming back to lay their eggs in it.
