Walks

There are loads of amazing walks near to the lodge including coastal path walks as well as lots of lovely walks using the public footpaths around the countryside. As the lodge is in a rural setting off the beaten path you will need a car to take you to most of the best walks in the area. You can find details of public footpaths by using Ordnance Survery maps and other maps that display footpaths and bridle ways or by searching online.

You can get a snack, a meal and a drink at the Wreckers Retreat Inn and pick up interesting facts about the history of smuggling and ship wrecks that are part of the history of the area.
