Food scene
Local farm shop that provides everything you would need for your stay. From breakfast to BBQ’s and drinks non alcoholic and alcoholic. The restaurant serves delicious breakfasts and lunches. There is also a gift and most beautiful flower department. Breads and cakes are baked daily and their doughnuts are simply the best! I think so anyway :). Kids will love it as there are little tractors to play on and an outdoor area.
All within a short walk away if you want to leave your car behind. Most of it can be done through our fields too.

My favourite cider maker
This place is one of my favourites and we are so lucky to have it just down the road. Great cider, yummy food and a good shop, deli and butcher. Buy food for a picnic, bbq, breakfast, any meal. Also a good selection of other drinks too. You can visit the cider museum or take a relaxing walk around their orchards. Kids will like the play area and animals too.
There are many events going on through the year too which you can find on their website. A must visit. You can see it from the bell tent!

This area is very sweet and typical of Somerset’s villages. There are many footpaths that take you up onto the Blackdown hills, and there are also some fab local walks. Children in particular love walking down to the village bridge and along there to dip in the river at certain parts. We call them our own little beaches.

The views from here are wonderful. A lovely walk though forest if you go left on your way up from the parking area or straight up to the open moorland and the beacon of you carry on up the hill. We love this walk

Go here just for a walk around the lake, or try kayaking or paddle boarding. If you have your own, you can launch your own and picnic there. Bliss
