Originally a getaway for wealthy Buffalonians at the turn of the 20th century, Crystal Beach is an eclectic blend of full time & seasonal residents . It was also the home to an amusement park from 1920-1989 boasting first The Cyclone and then replaced by The Comet roller coasters ( now in Coney Island ). The pace is laid back, quiet & casual. But it can get quite busy, with occasionally loud visitors around the big holiday weekends. Enjoy the quiet neighbourhoods, food & entertainment scenes & of course Bay Beach.
