The bar scene in Wrigleyville in my opinion for the younger crowd. I think that people of all ages can have a good time no matter what but for some reason, the majority of the people going out to the bars and clubs are in the early to mid 20's. There is a lot of bars to choose from. Old Crow is one of my favorites. It is very big with a lot of room and an endless supply of TVs and projector screens. I recommend this place if you are looking to watch a game with a lot of room to stretch out. Sluggers is next door and is a great place to have a little fun. Sluggers even has a batting cage inside the bar. I highly recommend these bars. Murphys Bleachers is another famous bar.

Boystown is for the Gay community. If you are into that then I highly recommend you go to Boystown. It is here you will find a lot of like-minded people. Very close to Wrigleyville and the Lake View area.

Parks & Nature
There is so much to do but I figured you all have a good idea as the main tourist attractions so I wanted to try and give you something of value here. If you are into animals I highly recommend the Lincoln Park Zoo. What is unique about this zoo is that it is absolutely free. I found this surprising because this zoo has every animal you can imagine from Gorillas to Tiger, Lions, Exotic birds and much more. I highly recommend it.

Well if you go directly east to the Lake from the apartment you will be right next to Lake Michigan which is very relaxing to take in. This will be about a 5 -minute walk to get across the busy lake road so you are going to have to use a pedestrian cross walk which will be visable once you start walking that way. Now there is a trail that runs along side the lake all the way down to south Chicago and all the way up to Evenston and beyond. We call it that Bikers Interstate. Along this trail you will see beautiful scenary from the many parks that Chicago has to offer. These parks are a perfect place for a picnic or a place to take your dog. I defintely reccommend you check them out.

Food Scene
If you stay at my place and you are looking for a good breakfast restaurant then I will personally guarantee Horizon Cafe. It is 200 yards from my place. You just have to take my word for it. Everything that you order will be more than worth it.

This location is by far the closest grocery store around. It is right next to Salsita (great Mexican food) It is very convenient because it is easy to go get groceries and just walk back the apartment.

Getting Around
I definitely recommend using the Addison Red Line train. This is the most used and cheapest source of transportation in Chicago. Traffic can get bad in Chicago and this is a great hack to not have to deal with that. It is located literally right next to Wrigley Field. About a 10 minute walk.
